Personality Yukari is a vivacious individual, who follows his own vision of beauty. Yukari wishes for every aspect of his life to reflect that exquisiteness. The road he takes is treacherous, but Yukari believes the best way to see the vivacity of human life, is in the heat of battle. Allies or foe, he’ll go through anyone to see that loveliness time and time again. To understand the beast within the beauty, you must understand Yukari at his very core. Yukari lives his life from moment to moment. He doesn’t prepare for the future, but only responds to the present, dealing with anything life throws his way. The skills Yukari develops, he learns from him adjusting. The reason why he can be such a great retainer to Ichigen-sensei and later, the Green Kin, Nagare Hisui, is his ability to adapt to any circumstance.
Yukari considers a perfectionist. He holds everything he does to a certain standard. His work is efficient, and he completes any endeavor without fail. Such as when he attacks Mihashira tower and eliminates the Gold clansmen without help. Under both Kings he serves, Yukari satisfies them with his remarkable results. Yukari also perfects his appearance. During his downtime, he’s busy primping. Yukari takes care of his skin, hair, nails and even doing regular exercise. Yukari believes that perfection starts with oneself. He feels that it’s his duty to look his best when facing an opponent. So, Yukari makes sure he’s in top form to perform any task.
Yukari shows great intelligence by speaking eloquently. He often sounds philosophical while in a discussion. He often recites his former master’s haikus when he deems appropriate. Yukari is open to other people’s point of view and intelligence as well. Mentioning when he first saw the Green King fight against the Gold King, he becomes interested. Wondering what kind of man The Green King was, how did he speak and what was his perception of the world around him? He’s also very strategic when it comes to fighting, observing how a person fights and how he can overpower them. He can figure out if someone’s not up to his skill, easily. Yukari can think quickly on his feet, especially when he needs to make a quick getaway.
Yukari can be very playful, whether on the battlefield or with his clan, he always seems to be content. When Yukari makes his debut, he’s humming to himself as he steps into a warzone. When he faces his enemy, Yukari carries a smile and a lighthearted arrogance. When he deals with people he knows, he takes joy in tricking or provoking them, Yukari knows what buttons to push. Though being meanspirited in a loving way is a form of love to Yukari. He only becomes serious when his opponent is strong and warrants his respect.
Despite his passion, Yukari is a private person. He’s not very forthcoming about his inner thoughts. There's very little about his backstory except for his tutelage under his former master. With his displeasure in continuing to follow a benign life with his master and Kuroh, he doesn’t voice his aggravation until he’s near his boiling point. After his dissection from Ichigen, Yukari goes on for years, wandering on his own until the Green King finds him and coerces him to his side.
Even if Yukari is dutiful, he doesn't mind being defiant. If a subject doesn’t pique his interest, he deems it as undesirable. Tedious things he perceives as unbeautiful, he tries to get out of, or completely ignore. Such as when he is teaching Kuroh, Yukari sees the endeavor as unappealing since their levels are far apart. Instead, he sees teaching Kuroh as bullying since Kuroh isn’t as skilled as Yukari. He also finds certain behaviors to be inelegant, such as indecisiveness or whining. He can be even more intolerant of meaningless tasks such as finding a lost pet. Yukari will be quite uncooperative if he chooses to be. Despite, being interested in the Green king, Yukari does give him a hard time about joining his ranks. There are times where he chooses to feign ignorance because he doesn’t want to give in to people’s demands of him, or simply to tease them. Yukari’s not an easy person to read and he’s difficult enough where whims don't persuade him. Like a beast, he needs to be tame to be obedient.
Powers
Colorless Aura- Yukari uses his colorless aura to amplify his sword skills and powers. He’s been shown to use it to make a fury of strikes or even strengthen a single attack. Although, the aura is colorless, it’s noted that when Yukari uses it, the aura takes on a purplish hue instead of lacking in color. This could be because Yukari has made the colorless aura his own, reflecting himself in this power.
Green Aura- Takes the form of electricity, giving the user the ability to cause electrical shocks and pulses. This aura can allow their users to phase through walls and floors, and even do tricks such as creating a blinding flash, to cause a diversion.
Expert Combatant- He has swordsmanship skills, but his fighting skills are said to almost rival the level of King. Using his sword techniques, mentality and strength he able to be a formidable foe. Yukari can handle groups of opponents, execute missions on his own and even thwart out booby traps.

-Swordsmanship and fighting- Yukari has been trained under his master and he is said to excel at art of the sword. He’s also ambidextrous, so he could use his sword with either hand, and he often switches from the two. His former master thought he was adept enough that he can go on to teach others, his sword style.
-Cooking and other household chores – Ichigen sensei taught both his disciple the importance of taking care of oneself. So, Yukari is able to cook and clean. He does his tasks very well, often cooking for his former master and his new King and Jungle. Although, he’s not keen on picking up after others.
- Primping – Yukari is big on beauty, so he often takes care of his appearance. He’s very knowledgeable about beauty products and often practices a very healthy lifestyle to maintain his looks.
-Being a retainer- Despite, deserting from his former master, he has proven to be a good representative for the Colorless king and later, the Green king.
